Want to have quick getaway from the busy life of Manila? Try Cagabalete Island in Quezon. (30 November 2015)
How to go to Cagbalete?
Ride a Jac Liner bus in Pasay by 2am going to Lucena you will stop at Lucena Grand Terminal by 6am and from there ride a bus going to Mauban, Quezon we arrived at Mauban by 9am because we waited for the bus to be full.
You can buy your food and drinks before boarding the boat going to Cagbalete. The boat fare is only P50 only.Take note that the boat has scheduled trip however in our experience, they will wait for the boat to be full before they go.
Arriving at Cagbalete, locals will offer boats to your resort or you can check in upon arrival. You can also opt to walk for 15 to 30 mins. to save money.
Reminder: Buy all the things that you need before going to your resort the stores are far from the resort, you can ask local kids to buy you stuff just give them tip.

Look at the beach during the low tide.
The locals will offer a tour to Bonsai Island where you can see a beautiful sandbar and a to a snorkelling area, but bring your own gear.
The sand is fine and white.
Note: There is no electricity in the island
One of the best getaway from Manila if you need a quick and short vacation.
